My name is Kristin Kutach I am from Lake Jackson, Texas.
I’m a sophomore majoring in Kinesiology with a minor in Health Science. I grew up a cradle catholic but it wasn’t until my senior year when we started to dig deeper into Catholicism that I really started to want to learn more about my faith.
When I got to college I made it to Mass most Sundays because I thought that’s just what I needed to do. I got involved with a FOCUS bible study, but I only ever went to Mass and bible study. Because I was in track I never felt like doing much else after a long day of practice, so I didn’t get to know all the great people. This year when school started I made it a point to try to get more involved with St. Mary’s ministry and to grow more in my faith. After practice I would go to the circle and if I didn’t have practice I went to daily mass. The missionaries even got me to start leading a bible study. When I went to SLS I decided to quit track and now I’m able to be more involve than before.
Now I’m leading a Bible study with amazing women and have found some amazing friends. I would have never had that without St. Mary’s. I can’t wait to see where the next two years in this ministry will take me.
